What are dental implants ?
Each implant comprises an anchoring device made of titanium inserted into the jawbone and a prosthetic abutment above it that serve as support to a prosthetic tooth.
Why have implants?
Implants offer the most comfortable solution to a problem of missing teeth. Tooth loss can in fact represent a serious threat to your oral and dental health and your physical appearance.
An implant can :
Effectively replace a tooth or dentures,
Eliminate potential problems linked to tooth loss,
Restore your smile, which we need every day.
Is implant surgery painful ?
We ensure your comfort during the implant insertion with a conventional local anesthetic, all that the procedure requires, and afterwards with an appropriate prescription.
How much does an implant cost?
Three aspects must be considered: the cost of the surgery, the cost of the implant, and the cost of the crown. You will receive a detailed treatment plan including all costs in advance of any treatment.
Is the implant guaranteed?
As with any medical procedure, it is difficult to guarantee 100% success. Nonetheless, given our competence and expertise, we guarantee the clinical success of our surgical treatment, including a second operation free of charge if necessary. We are committed to results.

Implants, treatment Step by Step :
Insertion of an implant is generally done in several stages, which may vary according to the type of implant. Illustrations below show the insertion of an endo-osseous implant.
The first stage takes place under local anesthesia. An artificial root (metal anchor) is implanted in the jawbone. The bone heals by reconstructing itself around the artificial root. The process takes approximately three to six months. In certain cases, however, it is now possible to provide you with a prosthesis immediately, on the same day as the surgery.

> When the implant is uncovered, a protective cap is placed over it.

> The cap is then removed and a post or abutment can be attached to the artificial root.

> When the gum and jawbone have healed, a crown (artificial tooth) is made, then screwed into or glued to the post.
> Adjusting a new crown may require several appointments.
>
The dental implant must be brushed and cleaned with dental floss twice a day, just like natural teeth. Care must be taken to brush behind the posts and to floss the front, back and sides. Good oral hygiene will help maintain your implants in good condition and keep your teeth healthy.

Loss of teeth:
Losing teeth can have considerable impact on your oral and dental health and your physical appearance. One or more missing teeth can cause displacement of remaining teeth, affecting your bite and possibly leading to loss of more teeth, decay and periodontal disease.
Dental implants can effectively replace one or several teeth. Each implant consists of an anchoring device made of metal, inserted into the jawbone and topped by a post that serves as support for an artificial tooth. Implants can also be used to retain a bridge, replace a partial prosthesis or support a fixed prosthesis.
